Good Things

The last few weeks have brought many difficulties for my family, from the eldest to a handful of the youngest.
It seemed as for every step forward, we got the air punched out of us, and had to start all over.
But that is okay, because with each set back, there has been a learning process, and a better way to press forward.

Another upside? It is these times that my true creativity flows.
Just so happens, this last time, my love for creating jewelry has returned.

And what better way to "add something new" for the season fast approaching, "refashioning" of course.

This week I took some time and refashioned a leather cuff with some Venice lace and ribbon rosettes, and as well as upcycled some denim by creating a bracelet with part of the leg seam.

I also added lace & an applique to a fabric covered metal cuff, which is part of a very special young lady's birthday present (can not believe she will officially be a teen) for later this month.

I also used Dew Drop Embellishments found exclusively at The Robin's Nest, on this cuff.

Aside from the Venice lace, trim lace (denim) and larger floral lace on fabric cuff, the GORGEOUS Rosette, Applique & lace trim (that I altered a wee bit for the fabric cuff) are from The Vintage Rose Emporium, a Facebook exclusive store.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and please visit again soon!

Crafty Blessings!
