In times such as these, with natural disaster's befalling the earth, it can be so hard to see God's mercy and grace in this life. My heart is burdened for those that are suffering loss and tragedy from the devestation of "Superstorm Sandy", and yet I am full aware that this is God's attempt to awaken people who are sleeping spiritually.
People who have not acknwledged the warnings of a time drwing close to an end on this earth. A time when good is confused for evil and evil for good. This is a time to draw close to our creator, time to fall upon our faces and cry out for a world that is dying in sin.
I myself must confess, that diligence has not been a top priority. Instead, I have gotten lost in myself, and "issues" that I have been facing. I can not hear the cries of the lost and the hurt if I am caught up in me, I have to change.
It is a time to be earnest with God, to break free of ALL things holding us back from our destiny in Him. And I am going to give it my very best effort, to make the change in me.
God be merciful, bring comfort to the hurt and downtrodden, may we all see You in this tragedy, may we be reminded of the sacrifice YOU have already made for us, that You are a loving God, and all that is required of us is to repent of our sins, and confess that Jesus is Lord of all.
Psalm 107:13~"LORD, help!" they cried in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress.
